Sacramental Preparation

"Catechesis is an education in the faith of children, young people, and adults which includes especially the teaching of Christian doctrine imparted, generally speaking, in an organic and systematic way, with a view of initiating the hearts into fullness of Christian life." ( Catechism of the Catholic Church, 5)

First Reconciliation

The children will be prepared fir the Sacraments of Reconciliation ( Penance, Confession) and First Solemn Eucharist during a two year process in the Family Faith Formation program. This preparation will be according to the Sacramental Guidelines of the Diocese of Pueblo.

First Solemn Eucharist

The Children will be prepared for the Sacrament of the First Solemn Eucharist during a two year process in the Family Faith Formation Program.

The program will be in accordance with the Sacramental Guidelines of the Diocese of Pueblo.

Confirmation

Caechesis for the sacrament is an ongoing responsibility of both parents and parish. Parents, Pastor and catechists should be able to see some evidence of an active faith-life in the witness of the candidate's participation in the sacramental life of the Church. This preparation will be according to the Sacramental Guidelines of the Diocese of Pueblo.
